If your modem model is not listed here, please return to the previous page and select the DSL Modem Instructions for your modem type. If you cannot find instructions for your exact modem model, then please contact the Help Desk at…….

Log into the Comtrend modem by typing in the IP address 192.168.1.254 into the address field of Internet Explorer or Fire Fox browser. If you are not able to access the modem by typing in 192.168.1.254 then type in 10.0.0.2.

The username is: admin
The password is: admin
Then click on OK.

Click on the Edit button on the right hand side of the page:

Click on the Next button on the bottom of the page:

Select the PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) connection type and then click Next:

DO NOT change the username or password. Just click Next:

Click the Next button one last time:

Click the Save button:

Finally click the Save/Reboot button. It will take a couple minutes for the modem to reboot. All of the necessary changes should now be completed. You should now be able to connect to the Internet as usual.
