three-way calling

Would you like to chat with two friends at the same time? With Taconic's Three-Way Calling you can. This feature allows you to talk with two other parties at the same time, whether it's local or long distance.

To Add a Third Person to Your Call:

1. Depress the switchhook for one second to place your current call on hold.
2. Listen for a dial tone.
3. Dial the telephone number of third person you want to join the conversation (you may also use Speed Calling codes).
4. When the third person answers, you can talk privately before making the call a three-way conversation.
5. To complete the three-way call, depress the switchhook for one second to add the person you have on hold.

Note: If the call to the third person is not completed, or if someone else answers the phone and the person you want to speak with is unavailable, depress the switchhook twice to resume the conversation with the person you placed on hold.

To Disconnect the Third Person:

1. Depress the switchhook for one second. You'll now have only the original party on the line.
     or
   If either of the two parties hangs up, you can continue talking with the remaining party.
2. To disconnect from both calls, simply hang up the receiver.
