speed calling

Allows you to program telephone numbers and access codes into one or two-digit Speed Calling numbers.

To Program or Change Your Speed Calling 8 list:

1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial *74 (on rotary phones, dial 1174 and wait four seconds).
3. Listen for a dial tone.
4. Dial one of the 8 one-digit Speed Calling codes using the numbers 2 through 9.
5. Dial the telephone number you wish to assign to that Speed Calling code. For long distance numbers, remember to include the 1 and the area code.
6. Press the # button (on rotary phones, omit this step and wait four seconds).
7. Two beeps will indicate that the Speed Calling code has been activated.
8. Hang up.

To Program or Change Your Speed Calling 30 list:

1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial *75 (on rotary phones, dial 1175 and wait four seconds).
3. Listen for a dial tone.
4. Dial one of the 30 two-digit Speed Calling codes using the numbers 20 through 49.
5. Dial the telephone number you wish to assign to that Speed Calling code. For long distance numbers, remember to include the 1 and the area code.
6. Press the # button (on rotary phones, omit this step and wait four seconds).
7. Two beeps will indicate that the Speed Calling code has been activated.
8. Hang up.

To Use Speed Calling:

1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial the appropriate one or two-digit Speed Calling code.
3. Press the # button (on rotary phones, omite this step and wait four seconds).
4. Your call will now be dialed automatically.
