call forwarding

Wish you could take your calls with you? Call Forwarding allows you to forward an incoming call to another number.

To Activate Call Forwarding:

1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial *72 (on rotary dial phones, dial 1172 and wait four seconds)
3. Listen for the special dial tone.
4. Dial the number where you want your calls to be forwarded (you may also use Speed Calling codes).

If there is no answer at the forwarded number, or if the line is busy, hang up and repeat the steps above. Two beeps will indicate that your Call Forwarding feature has been activated.

To Cancel Call Forwarding:

1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
2. Dial *73 (on rotary dial phones, dial 1173 and wait four seconds).
3. Listen for two beeps, then hang up.

To Activate Call Forwarding Busy:

1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial *90 (on rotary phones, dial 1190 and wait four seconds).
3. Listen for a special dial tone.
4. Dial the number where you want your calls to be forwarded (you may also use Speed Calling codes).

Call Forwarding Busy will be activated when someone answers at the forwarded number. If there is no answer at the forwarded number, or if the line is busy, hang up the phone and repeat the steps above. Two beeps will indicate that your Call Forwarding Busy feature has been activated.

To Cancel Call Forwarding Busy:

1. Lift the handset and listen for the dial tone.
2. Dial *91 (on rotary phones, dial 1191 and wait four seconds).
3. Listen for two beeps, then hang up.

To Activate Call Forwarding No Answer:

1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial *92 (on rotary phones, dial 1192 and wait four seconds).
3. Listen for a special dial tone.
4. Dial the number where you want your calls to be forwarded (you may also use Speed Calling codes).

The Call Forwarding No Answer feature is activated when someone answers at the forwarded number. If there is no answer at the forwarded number, or if the line is busy, hang up the phone and repeat the steps above. Two beeps will indicate that your Call Forwarding No Answer feature has been activated.

To Cancel Call Forwarding No Answer:

1. Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone.
2. Dial *93 (on rotary phones, dial 1193 and wait four seconds).
